Marc Langley is a Lake District based adventure photographer. Originally born in Liverpool and raised in the North West of England. His parents introduced him to the outdoor world of climbing from an early age. His father is an accomplished climber, with first ascents in Scotland on An Teallach, then in the Peruvian Andes, where he first introduced Marc into climbing aged 7. It was then in Chew Valley climbing on Robs Rocks that the seeds of his life would be sown.

As the years went on it seemed only natural to Marc, to diversify into photography. To document and record these ascents and the places he would travel too. Now having received recognition for his work and photographed the likes Andy Kirkpatrick, Gregg Boswell and Mina Lesllie-Wujuastyk Marc is continually focused on creating images that showcase the environment in which we adventure in. With a specific passion for highlighting the environment and the mood climbing often takes place in.

With this drive Marc can be found working his way up Scottish winter ice, bouldering on the Gritstone outcrops of the Peak District or racing to get the last lift back to civilisation after an epic in the alps. It is this diversification in climbing that allows him to photograph all the various disciplines that climbing entails.
